Today I want to share with you Tracy’s story. When I first started working with Tracy, she was at rock bottom. She was in a lot of pain from fibromyalgia, struggling with tummy issues and constantly felt bloated. In addition, she was dealing with several menopause symptoms. I caught up with Tracy and asked her the following questions about her experience working with me. This is her story in her own words:
I started by asking Tracy why she decided to get help
I first decided to seek help as I was fearful of feeling the way I did for the rest of my life.
Nikki kept popping into my mind and I just thought I have nothing to lose by just asking if she could possibly help me: BEST advice I have ever been given.
I have always used the power of positive thinking, do daily exercise and eat what I thought was a healthy food intake. But this and my pink lipstick was just not enough to stop my body hurting.
What results did you get from the programme?
The results from my programme from Nikki were life changing! No longer do I hobble around the bedroom for three quarters of an hour before attempting the stairs. My hands and feet are not swollen, and I do not hurt on waking each day. This alone would be great, but also my muscles do not hurt, and I can walk without pain. This was noticeable within FIVE days.
My gut is very happy for its dietary changes. No longer am I bloated or confused about what will affect my gut. I am feeling very happy as due to the changes my face is also no longer puffy.
How are you feeling right now?
I currently feel in control of my destiny, and that the pain I had no longer dictates my lifestyle.
Were there any lightbulb moments for you during the process?
Yes! I was shocked when I was made aware of being prediabetic. I believed that I ate healthily but my diet was very carb heavy, and I wasn’t aware of the impact of some of my dietary choices on my health. Slimming world has a lot to answer for – very misleading in its advice.
I am also grateful for support given in asking my Dr to change my hormone medication.
How would you describe the support you received?
I felt listened to and not judged for what I had unknowingly inflicted on my body. I was supported at each step in how to repair my gut and how to continue improving my general wellbeing. And I am still working on accepting that “me time” is important but getting there slowly.
Would you recommend this programme?
I already speak openly of the help I have received and would recommend that EVERYONE seeks an appointment with Nikki as nutrition is the key to helping get the most out of our bodies and preventing potential illnesses such as diabetes. Don’t wait for bits to fall off, or your body to stop functioning. It is worth just checking in on how you can optimise your body – we can all do better than we think is possible.

I am very happy that Nikki has given me the tools to support my body and the knowledge that she is always on hand should I feel the need to seek advice.
